ZDF Aspekte
Creating Visual Stories for
Cultural Conversations
Project Summary
As part of our team, I contributed to a series of animated videos for ZDF Aspekte, a cultural and political program broadcast on German public television. Each short film accompanied editorial segments, translating abstract or cultural subjects into engaging visual stories. For several film I was responsible or co-responsible for developing storyboards, creating and adapting illustrations to existing visual styles, and shaping the conceptual foundation of each piece. The projects were produced under tight weekly deadlines and broadcast nationwide.
Client

It operates as an independent, non-profit public institution, funded primarily through broadcasting fees. ZDF is known for its high-quality journalism, documentaries, cultural programming, and entertainment, serving as a major voice in Germany’s public media landscape alongside ARD and Deutsche Welle. The shows for wich I worked included Lesch Kosmos, Terra X, ZDF Aspekte and TTT Titel Thesen Temperamente.
