Bezirksamt Neukölln
Explaining recycling through
playful illustration
Project Summary
Bezirksamt Neukölln, in partnership with “Schön Wie Wir” asked for a hidden picture puzzle (German: Wimmelbild) to create a fun experience for children while teaching the basics of recycling. It visualized proper recycling habits within a cross-sectioned apartment building. The piece existed in both colored and black-and-white versions, integrating QR codes for interactive learning. Displayed in public spaces, it helped educate residents on waste separation in a clear, friendly way. It also included a stylized version of the original “Lilo” Character.
